Vip King is a pioneering application designed specifically for nightlife lovers in Barcelona. Its main objective is to open the doors of the most exclusive clubs in the city —Pacha, Opium, Sutton, Bling Bling and many others— No need to pay entry. With an intuitive interface and modern design, Vip King turns your smartphone into your VIP pass: just one touch to check availability, book your free access and discover special events in real time.

General description of the Project

Vip King's development came from the need to connect residents and visitors to Barcelona's most select leisure offer in an agile and affordable way. Our team of designers, developers and marketing experts worked hand in hand with promoters and local owners to integrate their agendas into a unified platform. The result not only facilitates the management of queues and reserves, but also allows locals to optimize their capacity and offer personalized experiences to their customers.

The Challenge

Creating an app that guaranteed free access to such prestigious sites involved solving several technical and business challenges:

Integration in real time with the sales and access control systems of each club, many of them managed independently and with different protocols.
Balancing supply and demand: ensure that users are available without collapsing the capacity of the premises.
Security and privacy: to protect data from users and business partners, in compliance with European data protection rules (GDPR).
Scalability: prepare the infrastructure to grow and adapt to the future added of new premises and special events during festivals or high seasons.
